does the master volume and gain controls alter the amp tone in anyway? I'm selling one amp i have cause after the master volume mod i put in it just did not have as good a tone.How is the clean tone? thanks

The amp has been so heavily modded that it sounds nothing like a stock valve jr. It actually has a pretty decent clean. The master and gain controls work in conjunction with one another. Theres a decent amount of tones to be had.
