Epiphone Wiring

I have seen several post about rewiring Epiphone Les pauls. Is this only for a certain time period or all epiphones period. I have recently purchased a Standard Plus. When I have my pickups installed should I just have them replace all of the electronics or what?

I would (and did). I had all the wiring, pots, switch, jack and pups replaced. I wasnt going to until the switch crapped out 2 weeks into owning the guitar. It's money well spent if you plan on owning the guitar for any length of time.

I've never changed any of the wiring on mine, but that's just me. I figured if it wasn't broke, why fix it.

imo....fix it if it's only broken especially if you have no skills at wiring and stuff...you risk making your guitar buzz like heck......but i would replace that toggle switch as i can guarantee that it will stop working after while.......btw....the reason i say no to do it is because when you plan on selling your epip.....you still gonna sell it for the same price as an epip without the upgrades....
