Thought #1) WTF is "jazz size"?
Thought #2) It is just another piece of marketing.
I play a variety of styles, mainly with my fingers. Are those Jazz, Blues, Folk, Slap or some other size?

They are pretty much the same as a Jazz III but the nylon is a tad softer and the finish is a matte not gloss...
I find them a tad easier to hold on to but not much.

They were first for jazz musicians who wanted the small thick picks to get better control with their thicker strings that they used. Eventually metal musicians started using them after shredding became popular.
They are slightly more flexible, and they have a matte finish, but honestly the regular jazz 3's suck. I like the Ultex 2.0 ones, the tortex ones, and (though not jazz sized) the tortex sharps for anything. I think the Eric Johnson ones are more expensive, and they're not worth the price if you want a nylon jazz 3.

I actually love em. The matte finish is an improvement over the standard gloss IMO.

It's also a bit bigger than the regular Jazz III and the tip is rounder but your descriptions is spot on.

Yup, put them flat against each other, the Eric Johnson Jazz III's edges sticks out.

I came back here to post...I just laid an EJ Jazz III next to a stiffo Jazz III and noticed no real difference in size.
The tip on the EJ Jazz III I used is well worn so I can't comment on the tip yet...I have a few bags of new EJ Jazz III's I'll dig up shortly and see but I saw no difference in the size...

Put them flat against each other. If you just look at them side by side, you probably wouldn't notice the difference. The EJ Jazz III is not exactly the same as the regular Jazz III. They're not even the same exact shape as the regular Jazz III. Eric's are exact replicas of his favorite vintage Jazz III from his collection.
