ERIC SARDINAS pickup question

Hi

i've just bought an oscar schmidt by washburn acoustic/electric wood-bodied resonator. it comes with a crappy PU so I'm looking for a pickup similar to Seymour Duncan Eric Sardinas' custom minihumbucker.
Anyone knows which Seymour Dundcan minihumbucker may I use? May be a SM-1? a SM-2? other?

Welcome to the forum!!

According to the Players Database http://www.seymourduncan.com/artists/database/ he uses Custom Shop Mini-Humbuckers. If you call (or email) them I'm sure they can tell you what stock models would be closest to what he uses. Either that or they can definitely make you the exact same pickup he uses.

I'm thinking that a basic minibucker would work just fine if Sardinas tone is what you want. It's probably what he was using before SD hooked him up...
