Evening project: Bigsby on a 137 Custom

So I've been talking about doing this for about a decade. There's even a post on this forum proving that. I finally bit the bullet.

Ordered a Bigsby B3 and Towner bar kit from Reverb. I had a roller bridge sitting around from an old project. Pieces came together nicely I think!

(forgive the massive image size. it's the size uploaded by my phone)

So what do you think? I’m not a Bigsby guy at all, but how does the sound and feel compare to before?

Well I'm still getting used to it. The playability is basically the same. The Bigsby doesn't get in my way. The sound unplugged is definitely different but I haven't really noticed a difference in it plugged in. The action is smooth on the Bigsby though I'll tighten the arm up just a bit next string change. So far I'm very excited about it still.

I’ve been thinking about one on my Czaddy for quite some time, too. I’m glad one of us had the balls to do it!
