eventide timefactor what can you tell me about it?

As much as I like my echolution 2 deluxe I am having 1 issue with it. It is hard for me to tell what bank I am in. From a few feet away I can not tell which bar is light up. So I am looking for a delag with a bigger display. I know the strymon timeline is supposed to be king of delays but it is out of my price range. So that pushes me toward the timefactor.
How easy is it to switch banks?
How many presets can you have in a bank?
How good of a tape delay sound can it get?
I tend to favor a darker delay.

Had one of these. (Still got the remains somewhere.) After a while, it started introducing popping noises from the on/off switch into the delayed signal. Eventually packed in completely ... JUST after the warranty period had ended. I now use Catalinbread and tc electronic.
