[Reckless Abandon]

Put this in my jcm 800 combo last night. Initial impression: spongy, warm, nice break up, and fat.
I use a speaker soak and since it is a modded MV amp I don't dime it or anything.

What I've read is that the EVH speaker is exactly the same as the RI Celestion 20 watt Greenback, just with the EVH cosmetics. And, a rep from Celestion stated in a thread that even though those speakers are labeled as 20 watt speakers, they actually handle 25 watts.

I'm interested in this speaker as it has low sensitivity. Currently have a WGS ET-65 which I like, but always looking to try something new.

i thought my 800 sounded ok through the greenbacks. it sounds amazing with marshall/celestion vintage speakers.
