What wires do I test to Positive / Negative to see this thing works?
I just got it sent to me...
I know what Duncan wiring is, but not these...

RED is Hot, GREEN is Ground, and BLACK/WHITE together.

Weren't the ones in the EVH Sig 2-conductor and the Axis changed to 4-conductor?

I'll double check on that. I could swear my EVH is a 4 Condutor.

yes i have a set i bought from wicked lester and they are two conductor
as are all the EVH ones, the ones that are in the after EVH left axis guitars are all 4 conductor.
if you have a four conductor set in a actual EBMM EVH(his sig on the headstock) they were swapped out:eek13:

ERIK some say they are a little different as well?
i have heard some EVH owners say the older EVH DMZ's are warmer than the axis pup's?
but i only own the EVH ones so i dont know?
dimarzio swears they are the SAME pups though?

They are the same pickups. I've never heard that were was any difference or noticed any difference myself. I AB'd an Axis and EVH a few years ago and they sounded identical, through the same amp, same settings. A good buddy of mine in the biz has told me the same thing. All DiMarzio did was make them 4-conductor.
