A nice fat - but clear - sound, not too muddy, absolutely great...

I love it!

Cool dude! I thought about dropping my extra C5 into my Explorer but opted to wait for the blackouts instead. I put that C5 into my LP instead.

Post some clips so we can hear!

I can do it, but I don't have the best equipment for recording:

a headset mic
helix cable
solid-state amp

But I'll do it^^

the pgn and c5 combo is a great one. i had that in my sg till i sold it to a friend of mine

The only thing better than a C5/PG in an Explorer is a Custom/PG in an Explorer!!!!

Yep, that's a sweet combo all right. My Hamer Standard Mahogany has a Custom5/APH-1 combo in it and it kills.

Yesterday I tried it the the first time at the band rehearsal: a clear and fat sound without estimating like the Gibson ceramics did. The combination didn't fit well with the Gibbys, but now it's absolutely awesome and my Gibson is the instrument that I wanted with it's sound and look and playability.
