Expression pedal with delay - DL4/Timfactor ????

Does anyone here use an expression pedal with either of these pedals? I know that both pedals work on the same basis, which is that the expression pedal can morph between 2 sets of settings on the same preset.

The idea is you set the expression pedal to the heel down position and then set your delay however you like.... then you move the expression pedal to the toe down position, adjust the settings on the delay to something completely different.... save your preset, and then the expressione pedal will morph between the 2 different sets of knob settings.

All well and good, except...

Say you wanted a preset where the delay time stayed the same, but the toe down position had higher 'mix' and 'feedback' settings so that you can coax oscillation out of the delay with the expression pedal, and then clean it back up by rocking the pedal back to the heel down position.

This is possible, I know it is.

But what if you then use the tap tempo function in a live setting to sync it up to a drummer?

So then say you tap the tempo while the expression pedal is in the heel down position.... when you rock the expression pedal forwards, will it revert back to the preset delay time? Or will both heel down and toe down positions have the new tapped delay time because in theory you only ever set the expression pedal to control 'mix' and 'feedback'?

Anyone have either of these units to test???
