OK maybe 2k more. For $500 more than the Classic OP could get a new LP Std with AAA flame top though.

That is why they come in so many different colors. Not every guitar is going to appeal to every user.

One of the more attractive features of this guitar is the flexibility of tone. It would be $500 more for the standard then a total rewiring job to match the electronics.

And the Classics always had those ugly snot yellow tinted inlays.

Smokehouse burst looks like a poorly executed PRS Goldburst.

I have an R0 as well as 2 Gibson USA Les Paul Standards, and I have to say, Gibson Custom Shop isn't worth the extra money. If you search around carefully and buy in person, you can find a Gibson USA that's just as good as Custom Shop.
