f-spaced pickup

my friend gave me an f-spaced seymour duncan humbucker and my guitar does not have a tremolo bar type setup will this matter as far as sound

Provided it fits into the hole you have for it, there should be no noticable difference. I use non-tremspaced pups on trem equiped guitars with no issues, so the reverse should be true as well.

It'll improve the tone if your guitar has wider string spacing like most Fenders do. Doesn't matter if you have a vibrato or not...it's all about matching the wider string spacing of Fender style guitars. Lew
