FA: 70's Dimarzio Dual Sound

About a day left. It's really a Super Distortion w/ 3 conductor wiring. Put it on my first guitar back in '77 or so. :werd:

Just FYI, the Original Dualsounds were actually also 4 conductor, just not modern 4 conductor + shield, but the shield itself was the 4th conductor.

That pickup can be split just like any other 4 conductor. Actually, from a technical side 4 conductor wire is necessary to do Series/Parallel as well, because wit a single tap wire (like for ex. Carvin or PRS pickups) you can only short out one coil = coilk splitting.. but with 4 conductor you can choose whick coil comes before /after /next to each other, exactly what Series = Parallel switching is.... That´s also why you have to connect black + red for standard series operation, true 3 conductor PUS don´t require this step.
