So out of curiosity from professionals on this forum. What do you think is a fair price if i sold my JCM 2000 dual super lead + 1960 vintage slanted 280 watt speaker cab? is selling to guitar center stupid or should i sell to a straight buyer?

im just concerned about getting ripped off and i want to sell to a buyer fair price

320w? Marshall Vintages are 70w each I thought. (280w cab)

Generally a jcm2000 in great shape fetches $600-$700, and a 1960av cab would be $350-$500 depending on condition.

No, I wouldn't sell to guitar center if you don't absolutely need the money yesterday.
GC would give about $500 tops for the whole rig if it's in OK shape.

The cab is probably worth more than the amp. More supply than demand for JCM DSLs. Made even worse now with the Vietnamese made versions, which has driven demand and prices down.

I would 't sell to GC. They have to make a profit on it too and you will not get an accurate market value for it.
