family shot

Re: family shot

What is the guitar on the back row that is second from the right?

Back in the day, that was the guitar your parents bought you from the Sears Catalog when they didn't want to spend more than $40 for your first guitar. I had a full scale sized Harmony just like it.

Re: family shot

yeah, it's a holiday bobcat. cheap older guitar with lots of mojo and great foil pickups. makes me feel like I'm a budding jimmy page from 1965 - young, dumb, and full of...riffs.

the esp is nice but the neck is a bit twisted. should probably get a refret to make it usable again.

That's why my eyes gravitated towards it. It reminded me of something I used to see at Service Merchandise.

Re: family shot

One of those guitars needs the orange '78 Duncan set you won. Maybe the Ibanez with open coils or a LP with nickel covers installed.

Re: family shot

Orange 78's go in the Ibanez. He needs to wear those sneaks on the left when he plays it.

Give us a list of make/model please…

Re: family shot

When you die, I want the black Sabre. :)

I have two Sabre IIs, and I love them dearly. To me, that's the cream of the collection.

Actually, I hope you live a long time. A very nice collection, indeed.

Bill

Re: family shot

Is that a Sabre, or a G&L F-100? (not that there's much difference between those two) Oh and nice Bobcat, too... I had one for a (very) short time that just disintegrated, but a freind has one that is a totally solid player. Real hit-and-miss with those.
