I use the custom custom, but you've inspired me to buy an assortment of magnets and see how I like the others. Thanks for the GAS, man. At least it won't be too expensive this time.

I especially like the Custom Custom in semi-hollowbody guitars like my Monoco Super Pro and the Custom in solid body guitars like Les Pauls. But either sounds good in either!

I love the Custom 5, but in all fairness, I only had a Custom for a short period of time, and didn't give it a fair chance, and I've never had a CC.

Give me time . . .

I think the sometime complaints about the Custom (SH-5) having a slightly fizzy top end are justified, but I still like it the best as the same thing that can lead to fizziness if not controlled at the amp is also what gives it such a wonderfully bright and aggressive sound, something that I don't quite hear in the the C5 and don't hear at all in the CC.

I voted Custom Custom. It sounded pretty damn good in my ash bodied Strat. I`m either gonna put the CC back in or make an A2 hybrid out it with a 59.

I would have to vote for the CC. I had a Custom in an Ibanez 7 string and I thought it was ok. I dropped a Custom/Custom in a couple of other uitars and loved it. I have yet to try a Custom 5.

I havent installed my CC in anything yet, But I've tried the custom and the C5, and I definately prefer the custom.

Wanting to try out the alnico 8 though :beerchug:

Long time reader, first time poster. I gotta tell you guys, I just recently put an APHII/CC in my Les Paul, and I really think its what I was looking for. Previously I had the Jazz/JB, which was cool, but not exactly what I wanted.
So I guess my vote is for the Custom Custom.
