Feedback on idea please (Hot Stack and Pearly Gates)

Hello all,
Do you think a Hot Stack Lead (STK-T2B) in the bridge match well with a Pearly Gates (SH PG1) in the neck of a thinline tele with a walnut body?
Looking for classic rock/blues/country sounds.

Thanks!

It won't sound like a traditional Tele, but it should match, and sound great regardless. I like the idea of splitting them, too. You have to post a pic of the walnut body, though.

Thanks Mincer, I appreciate the info. I look forward to hearing the end result. I'll post some pictures of the body soon.

Take care,
Bill

Here are the pictures of the body, not finished yet, needs some sanding and tung oil finish.

Wow, that is really awesome there. Can't wait to see it finished.

On my alder Tele I have the STK-T2B paired with an A2Pro neck, no mismatch in volume. Ditched the stock selector for a LP switch, and installed two DPDT ON/ON/ON toggle to have both pickups wired independently in series/parallel/split.

Not a true Tele, but the next best thing.
