Honeymoon period is over. I finally realized that regardless of how cool they look I just don't really get on with SG's. Anyway I'm selling this hoping to free up some funds for life and maybe a small bit of gear.
Upgrades:
- Alpha pots
- Sprague orange drop capacitors
- 50's wiring
- Graphtech tusq nut
- Duncan '59 set (alnico 8 bridge and alnico 4 neck), lovingly re-potted with the covers after the mag swap.
- kluson style tuners, not sure what the ratio is but they hold tune well and have totally alleviated the neck dive
- custom parchment pick guard + spacer plate (made by pickguardian.com)
- cream switch tip, chip and pickup rings
- gold top hat metal-cap style knobs
I'm thinking about $320+ shipping
Out in the wastelands of the Canadian wilderness, I have MacGyver'd a WiFi network out of birch bark, maple sap and a beaver pelt and thus posted using my Nexus7.
