I got tired of looking for a job and before I have to sell all my recording gear yet again I wanted to bang out another tune. A little bit of influence from White Lies on this though it doesn't really sound like them.

The vocals sound cool, the guitars are too loud in the chorus, but the chorus rocks as allways. I like the background and the drumsound is cool!

Nice! In some ways, makes me think of an aggressive version of Depeche.


I wish the vocals were a *tad* louder, or just maybe more crisp, not much though.

Cool, glad you liked it. I have a pretty poor vocal chain right now. It's an AT2020 mic which isn't the best for my voice and an old Mindprint mic pre. I could bring the vocals up a db or so and maybe try some different eq.

Thanks kc2 glad you liked it in spite of the style. I try to get the chord changes and vocal melody strong first so that it should stand up no matter what the arrangement is.

Very cool! Good effort! Really digging the beat and the guitars in the chorus, they really lift the song there. The lead guitar in the second verse is perfect.

Thanks Rich I appreciate the listen. Same here in regards to the White Lies album, the production and his voice just suck you in, not to mention the song writing is really good.
