For sale is a 2004 50th Anniversary American Series body in black alder.
Taken from an unnused guitar....primo....mint...you will be stoked!

I need a postal money order for $180, and you'll have it Fedex'd in 2 days.
Shipping included.

This is perfect for a strat project or MIM/Jap upgrade. It's a nice lightweight alder body that sounds great. Bridge stud bolts are still in it, but no other hardware incl.

Any marks in the pictures is just fingerprints or glare. The body looks like it just left the Corona, Ca. assembly line.

Is it a 2 or 3 piece body?
you can tell how many pieces if you put under bright light.
The finishes are usually thin enough to allow you to make out where the pieces are glued together.

Re: Fender Am. Strat Body. Alder/Black

I've seen plenty of painted bodies, where I can see the seam. This body appears to be 1 piece of solid alder. I held it up to a bright light (top & bottom), and I can't see where pieces were glued together. I can't be certain, but I'd bet it's 1 piece.

I'm tempted to get the rest of the parts, and finish it myself. I just have too many guitars to justify it. I bought this 50th Ann American Series strat from a kid who couldn't play. He brought it home from GC and put it under his bed. I used the rest of the guitar to go with my rare silverburst body.
