Fender American Strat pickups

I honestly like the pickups that are in it, just I don't like the hum.

What would be the best replacement?

I was checking the tones, and the STK-S1 sounded the best, but, sadly, it looks like it's no longer being made =/

Figures...


Any advice?

Go for the Duncan Classic Stack Plus pickups. Virtually identical to a vintage 62 Strat pickup or a Duncan Antiquity and no hum. The Classic Stack Plus pickups are a little hotter, especially the bridge pickup, and the mids are a little thicker than vintage...but they're the best. Better than Fender Noiseless, Kinman, etc. Lew

Thanks - that's what I was thinking :)

I'll do some more research on those...
