does anyone know anything about the reissue blues deviile 410, iam looking for something prefer fender. i can play from jazz to country,blues and southern rock no metal. does this amp play good clean with an gibson es 335. i could use all the info i could get. the gigs i play we play from dylan to jim reeves and stevie ray sometimes, thanks for the help just want to be cool with the money i spend, you know how it is these days.

I can't say about the deville, but I can tell you the blues deluxe reissue will give you great, great cleans with a gibson. My rhythm guitarist plays one with a ES339, and it sounds great!

If the deville is anything like it, give it a shot.

If you can swing the extra $$$, I'd look at the Super Reverb RI ... one of the best amps with a 335 type guitar I've ever heard.

yeah they're good amps

the blues's are a little tighter than the hot rods, but both break up about the same and with the right preamp tubes they'll stay clean all the way up

I like the Blues versions more than the Hot Rods. They don't have that extended gain, but the gain on the Hot Rod isn't that great anyway.

The best way to use the Blues Deville is to set the gain channel with it's volume high and gain lower, so it just acts as a boost for the clean channel.

They're good amps, and I'm sure you'll like it with a 335. The only weak point on those amps is the plastic barrel jacks. If the cord gets yanked sideways, it's dead. So, it's best to wrap your cable a couple times around the handle, then plug it in.

+1 But for the money you might be better off looking for a non Master Silverface. Its about the same $ as th SRRI, but IMHO they sound a lot better. This is one of the best combination's of amp/guitar for Blues/bluesrock ever. Listen to Soul to Soul SRV played some of the tunse with an Epi Shereton (basically a 335) through a Super Reverb! The tone is to die for.

Besides a Super Reverb will have more headroom and it does not have channel switching, but a good TS will get you what you need.

We had a Blues Dx. Was a pretty good grab & go. Changed out the speaker to an Emi Wizard, 5751 in V1 and a 12AT7 in the PI. But in the end we let it go. I guess I am in the age group that thinks a Silver Face is the way to go. Either a Super R, Pro R, or a SF Bassman head with a few pedals. I think most modern day Fenders suffer from badly biased, cheap tubes and speakers that are also "less expensive" models.
