I was just talking on the phone about this pedal to theodie last night...I had one a few yeas ago. They are built pretty solid, I love the knob placement, and they sounds like your amp is about to blow, your speakers are already blown, and your guiar is about to melt! As far as I know therre are no clones of this one yet. I would like to have mine back, but I got it cheep and sold it for not so cheep. There is NOTHING that I could tell you to go get that sounds close to one, and there are NO sound clips anywhere on the net that I know of...there is one on Ebay right now...it has a starting bid of $200.00 and a BIN of $350.00. I it helps you at all I have seen them go for as much as $500.00...which is just crazy! I actually hate the band....but Billy Corgan used a Fender Blender all over Melon Collie...the time when you can hear it the best is on Bullet with Butterfly wings...towards the end...it sounds like his amps is about to go...that's the Blender!

I heard Kevin Shields used it a lot too, but he took the Marshall Shredmaster on tour so the blender wouldn't get broken or stolen. I had a Shredmaster and I thought it was pretty sissy. :laugh2: I found a clone made by Ron Sound (http://www.ronsound.com/pedals/flender.html). I'm basically looking for something wilder than a Big Muff.

-A fender blender is wilder that a Big Muff
-The Flender looks cool...if you go that way, let me know. I would like to have my Blender back, but I just won't pay that much for one!
