Fender FM 212R

A friend of mine gave me a Fender FM212R recently. He found it in a house he is renting and has no use for it.
I have a FM412 bottom that I like quite a bit, but the fact that Fender doesn't make the FM line anymore tells me alot.
Nice to have a 100watt amp with the 2 12s in one package. Let me know your thoughts.

The FM412 bottom is an undrated cab. I think because the amps were mediocre in some eyes the cabs got overlooked. The stock speakers are fine in those cabs. I had a set of Seventy 80s hanging around and loaded those up in it. I am not a fan of the Fender FM212R but only a fool would turn down a free amp. Nice score.

You're the one who turned me on to the FM412. I love it, your advice was right on the mark - THANKS.
My friend showed up this morning and brought the FM212R along plopped it down in the kitchen and said " Hey can you use this?" Nice score indeed. Thanks.

I can't remember if it was an FM212 or an Ultimate Chorus 212 but i had one of those two and ended up giving it away.

I don't remember how i got it but i can't imagine i gave anybody any money for it.

So, yeah, for free amps that sound okay and take up space until you give them away, they're great.
