Fender has the best customer service EVER

So I was having issues with my Cyber Twin SE. The overdrive circuit was on the fritz and was having tons of micro-phonic issues, so I brought it to a certified Fender tech. After about two weeks, the tech notified Fender that he didn't know "what the hell was wrong with it". So fender went ahead and ordered me a brand new amp, no charge, even though I bought the amp for 500 bucks on ebay and it doesn't even have a warranty....pretty much the most awesome thing a company could do.

as i said, still awesome though!

Awesome! I'm glad that worked out. How do you like the Cyber Twin? I've only ever used one as a tuner, and I don't see many people brag about them (nor do i see many slamming on them).

My amp stopped working (due to my idiot self) and they fixed it free of charge. No warranty or anything. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

Fender has always given me great customer service. I have often contacted them for small parts to my guitars and they send them at no charge, even when I offer to pay. ( I purchased my guitars new, from a dealer). They have never failed in this department so I will be a customer for life with this level of service.

Dittos on Fender. They've sent me parts and tubes and stuff, all free, all without need of explanation, and without regard to the fact that warranties had expired.

They've been great every time I've contacted them. Except listening to their bumper music through the phone speaker while on hold... John 5 is not my preference, and def. not through the phone. That said, if you get a good customer rep, you can just call direct after that.

I said it once and I'll say it again: Their customer service is one of the reasons why I stick by them, I mean Jesus... can you imagine Marshall or Gibson doing that?

It's an amazing machine. The preset's are crap though, so it takes a lot of fiddling to dial in the tone you want, but when you do it's so worth it. Before this amp, I owned a 65 super reverb reissue, and I like the preset I made for that amp on my cyber twin more than the actual super reverb. Some of the effects are kind of rediculous, but the dozens of different delay and reverb options are great. I'll write a proper review soon, but it's a damn shame Fender stopped producing them just so they could make even more reissues of amps made in the 50-60's....damn guitar Luddites:banghead:

Gibson would run out of money if they replaced the 1 out 4 necks that break on their guitars due to their bad workmanship

Fender has really become a company that Leo would have been proud of, long after his passing.

I love Gibson, but I'll bet if he could, Ted McCarty would jump out of his grave and choke that idiot Jewshewitz or whatever his name is.

I wish Fender amps were good for heavier stuff. This is an awesome story and I wish I could use a Fender but they don't have the Gain tone I look for.

Fender Supersonic. More gain than anyone will ever need.

Or you could just get one with a good clean (which one doesn't) and get a pedal out in front.

My bad. I've always thought of Fender as a clean sound kind of company. When it comes to my gain I prefer it to be all amplifier. A pedal can't really recreate the sound of an amp's distortion. It's a ways out of my price range, however.

Try out a Black Top tele. Humbuckers in a tele body usually dish out the fatness. $449 too.

I'll bet a Custom/59 would sound great in one.
