fender mahogany strat

anyone see this thing? looks amazing! a mahogany strat, sin/sin/hum, looks killer! anyone play it yet?

I saw that in the Guitar Center mag I got. Looked pretty cool, but I'm not so sure I'd like all mahogany for everything.

I'm digging my strat with a mahogany body, but I like that the neck is all maple, so it balances out (whereas if the neck was mahogany, I'd be concerned about it being too warm and losing that strat bite and typical characteristics). Just my .02 (does look neat though).

There is some point. Approx. a year ago I played a note or two on a brownish-red-translucent mahogany Fender Strat that had a pair of P90-like p-ups. Although it was a pretty nice guitar with a good, raw, biting sound, it lacked that special Fender bite and did not remind me of a Strat. Plus, it was heavy so it had some different feel.
