Fender Starcaster Distortion

I ordered one on a black friday deal today. I saw this video, and I was surprised by the versatility.



Granted I have a different guitar and amp setup than the guy in the vid, but the way I see it is $15 is worth it for an experiment.

Does anyone have any experience with this pedal?

I saw them at Target and was surprised that Target had pedals. I don't think they will be great quality, but the price is reasonable.

Mine will be here in a few days. I'll post up my review when it does. I'm hoping this "target pedal" does at least half of the things it does in the vid on my equipment.

I've had this for a bit now. I like it better than my Boss DS-1. It gets more diversified tones with its equalizer than the DS-1 does with its single tone knob. It's a fun pedal to play around with.

That said, It isn't perfect by any means. It takes up more space than a Boss pedal.

It's a good starter pedal, and it's good for pedal collectors, but I don't think it will ever replace anything for serious pedal users.

Overall, I'm satisfied with it though.

Versatility: The ability to do many things half-assed.

Seems like a ****ing sweet score for $15, man. As long as you're digging it, that's cool. Enjoy. :beerchug:
