Fender Strat ballad clip...

Man, I'm going to miss this guitar at uni! I'm not taking it because I don't want to have something really expensive and of sentimental value in my dorm in case it goes missing... The basic story behind this guitar is I got a good amount of money for my 18th, which I was supposed to put towards a car. But, being a musician first person/person who goes outdoors and requires transport second, I prioritised, and bought a guitar I've wanted for years.. a white USA Fender Strat :32:

Well, I don't want to pay for running a car while I'm at uni anyway. :chairfall

This was recorded a while ago, before I had the guitar setup, so it's at least a few months old... you can hear a little bit of fret buzz on the wound strings. The backing track is from www.guitarbt.com

God strats sound so good..

Your playing was also great, I could listen to you jam the blues for a long long time, You have some of the best feel Ive heard in a LONG LONG time

I've listened to Rid for about 2 years now, so I probably have been influenced by his playing. Plus, the guy likes strats, so he's got good taste! :smokin:

Kind of off topic - I actually think you sound better on your Strat than you do on your RG.

The caveat I always issue when someone mentions Suhr = DON'T play one if you can't afford it! :chairfall Awesome guitars... I think you'll really like them.

This is one of the nicest Strats ever i think.Plain white is teh best color for a strat!

They're just the stock Fender singles. I used to be a no singles in the bridge guy as well, but I guess I'm just getting old :chairfall

I think the first part is pos 3 (middle pickup), then on to position 2 (mid and bridge) then on to position 1 (bridge), then back to pos 2, then the final licks are pos 5 (neck pickup)

I'm just guessing though by listening :chairfall
