Fender Strat pickup covers on a Seymour Duncan pickup?

Hi everybody, I have some unused genuine Fender pickups covers for my strat, and I'm thinking of buying some Duncan single coils (not sure which ones yet), and I want to know are those Fender pickups covers compatible with Seymour Duncan pickups, and can I put them on so they don't just lay around, and I want to use them.

Measure the pole spacing on your covers and check the spacing on the pups before ordering.

I did this exact thing. I dont like my single coils having the SD logo on them, so i used my stock Fender covers on them. they fit pretty snug for sure. the spacing is a tad wider than stock but the Fender covers do work.

Are the Fender covers American or import? Not all Fender covers will fit.

I have a set of Duncans out of an old Albert Lee sig guitar under stock MIJ Fender pickup covers. They don't fit perfectly, but you can't tell from 3 feet away.

The logos can be polished off with metal polish, so you can use covers that fit properly.

i've put 2 duncan ssl5 under the stock covers on MIM strats without any major issues.

I know that Fender Texas Special covers fit Duncans, yet they are ever so slightly snugger then stock Duncan SSL1 covers. You can buy logo'less Duncan covers on Ebay and Reverb.

Does Duncan sell matching knobs/switch tip for the covers? I really like the Fender colors. They seemed to fit the SSL-1 and APS-1 fine.

I ordered the covers from the UK because I live in Europe, but I think they are American made.

I'm pretty sure you can check it out on their official website, or some store websites. :)

You can use steel wool #0000 to remove the logo. Even those Scotch brite pads, the green side.

Sure you can. You can also use sandpaper, acetone, a razor blade...

Really bad suggestion, unless you are trying to scratch the plastic on purpose.
