Fender Super Twin Reverb??

Does anybody have any experience with this amp? Supposedly it's a 180 watt tube combo with reverb. I hear people describe it as the obnoxiously loud fender twin (clean channel atleast).

Anybody know whats a good price for these amps and if they are worth getting. How does this amp compare to, lets say a silverface bassman head or a Laney VC 30 2x12 combo.

doesnt compare.........weigh approximately 3 tons, and sounds sterile, and a very loud sterile at that.......if you just want loud, and not a whole lot of tone (or at least real fender twin reverb tone), then thats the amp for you heh

I think Ted Nugent used them at some point? I don't know of there value?
But I think there kinda rare? fender only made them for a year or 2 in the late
70's.

Albert Collins used the quad reverb, which was loud, but I can only imagine the damage that thing might do.

I haven;t played the SUper Twin, but I had a Pre-CBS Twin years ago (100watts). It was a nice amp, but had way too much head room. Loud as all hell. You really needed to put a stomp box in front of it. Twins are made for country players, because they're so clean. The Super Reverb was nicer because it was lower wattage and broke up sooner
