Fender TC90 Thinlines?

What is the verdict on these? I've been ignoring them upuntill now, dont really know why.
Why are they so cheap? Are they MIM or something?
As you can see, I know nothing about them, teach me. :laugh2: :smokin:

And why are tornados so cheap? Well at least that one is, I've seen a couple of others like go cheap as well.

It looks to me like Fender's idea of the Tele Thinline Jr. Looks a lot like those double cutaway Les Paul Jr. guitars, except it's a Tele, and it's semi-hollow. Seems like a cool idea.

Haha, sorry about the GAS. I dont think they look that bad, but I've never actually had one in my arms.

They're great guitars from my experences.

Local music shop has some, they play great and sound very good. Infact I've seen quite a few people that I "know" have WAY more expensive gear end up buying them.

It's got a set neck, not neck-through.

...Anyways. I'm pretty sure mostly Mexico, now I'm almost sure they discontinued the american ones...

An old (duo sonic style bridge) model with P90s... expensive. But also the coolest.

The Toronado's I've played were very cool, but the TC's left me unimpressed. Dead wood, bad fretwokrk, and what seemed to me unstable neck joints turned me off in a hurry.

I'm not too enthusiastic about the looks of the TC90 anyways....but the P90's....now that is another story.

I dig the P-90 action too, and I can't wait to try out an Epi LP Jr reissue.

Another option might be a used MIM strat with a Callaham block, 3 way switch, and a pair of Phat Cats.

i liked them. they had an overall good sound and the one i played seem to be stable enough. play before you buy

they are cool for the money. sd p90s, set neck, what more can one ask for? maybe tonepros and locking tuners. i would have gotten one if i do not have a closely similar guitar. the one i tried played well and sounded good but a tad too neck heavy though...
