few installing questions

First, when it says to solder to ground do I solder to tone or volume?

Second, I need help finding the right schematic. The dimarzio website doesn't have my guitar setup. I have looked at seymours and found the right setup but dimarzio and duncans wire colors are diff. I'm installing two Dimarzio humbuckers. My guitar setup is two humbuckers, 3 way toggle switch, volume knob, and tone knob that is a coil tap if I push/pull it.

If someone could help me find the right schematic with the right wire colors that would be great. I really dont know much about this stuff so im having my friends dad install them. He is quite good with a soldering iron I just need show him some kind of instructions. thx for the help

Anywhere you have ground period! Ground on guitar will trace back to the sleeve connection on the output jack (Not the tip!)

SD to DMZ colour code as follows:
SD ..............DMZ
black ..........red
white...........black
red ............white
green ........green
Bare .........bare ........always to ground!

Just sub the colours as above and you'll be okay.
