Filament Not Lit On Preamp And Output Tubes On My Vibro Champ........................

The day before yesterday, I switched on my 1968 Fender Vibro Champ and..............nothing. The pilot lamp was lit but no sound. I looked behind inside my amp and I saw that the only filament lit was the rectifier tube. I opened up my amp and traced the filament wiring to the pilot lamp bayonet connector. I got my soldering iron and got it hot. I then reflowed the solder on the pilot lamp connector and now the amp works beautifully. Whew! I'm glad it wasn't something serious.

I am using the Vibro Champ as the right channel (Vox Lil' Night Train for the left) with my Art SGX-2000 and my Rocktron Silver Dragon for my living room rig. The programs are adjusted to taste and sounds fantastic.
