Finally decided on which passives on my SG

Well after practically nine months of debating, on every p'up from Rio Grande, to Tom Anderson, to PRS, I figured I would just go with Seymour Duncan's for my SG (have EMG's in there). I have already decided on a four conductor sh-1 '59 for the neck, I am at a toss up for the bridge, between the the JB and the SH-5 Custom and all. The style the axe I am using it for it stoner, classic rock/metal (Danzig, CoC, Judas Priest, and so on). I don't really need a high output p'up since I figure with today's high gain amps, it really does the output for you now. Anyway I figured the SH-5 Custom because it's still pretty hot but still pretty clear. Anyways, any suggestions other than that would be appreciated. Oh yeah, my SG is a Gibson Gothic.

CC or another 59. I had a Custom in an SG before, found it a little bright in that guitar (it had an ebony board too). I think the looser, warmer CC in an SG (a bright guitar for mahogany) would do well for the classic and stoner rock vibe (my style too, bluesy stoner/classic rock ala Iommi meets ABB).

dude if your looking for something for stoner rock kinda stuff but still real good for other types of metal, absolutely go for the anderson H3. to put it in terms of duncans, its kinda like a JB with slightly less mids, and a good amount more low end. hell, its what pepper keenan (COC, down) and kirk windstein (crowbar, down) use. especially going into an SG, i think a JB or custom would be too bright. the H3 is actually what windstein has in his goth SG. COC & priest are 2 of my favoritest bands (in fact COC is my #2 favorite, tied with down, and priest is about #5) and i dig danzig too, and the H3 handles all of them very well. btw, what amp are you running through?

you can buy em here http://www.gtrheaven.com great place to deal with, and really fast shipping
