Finally got my first tube amp!!!!

I have been looking for tube amps for some time anfter I realized that the pos crate was just crappy. I have been searching the classifieds here, TGP, Harmony Central, EBay, and craigslist. Then I came across this local music store about 40 minutes away a friend recommended me too. Went down there and walked out with this beauty for a good deal. $550 bucks out the door.

HOLY F%#$ I have been missing out. This amp just sounds epically amazing with my Crook Tele. the reverb and trem is also awesome. I am loving it. I am going to get ready and put my pedalboard in from of it and see what I can do. And yeah this thing is LOUD AS BALLS. But I love it already. It not mint., but it is in really great condition. Now I may just have to get a fuzz to slam in front of it!:cop:

Let me be the first to say I can't believe you were playing a cusotm Crook Telecaster through a SS Crate amp...

Great amp and I'm sure the combo sound fantastic!

Those amps have a good Master Volume circuit, so don't worry too much about tone suck at lower SPLs.

Have high have you cranked the volume on the vibe channel? I think I got one to 3 once.
I'm amazed at how deep it sounds on 1 but 3 is nuts.

Finally a great rig. Now time to pick up a Paisley Drive, send the ts9's off to get modded, get the Strymon El Capitan, and swap the comp out with a Keeley 2 knob. And maybe, just maybe, a BK Butler Tube Driver!

Some people make their way up the chain with modelling then cheap tube amps and then some head straight to the beez neez.

I got to play one on 10 a few weeks at guitar center for about 15 minutes. Used one of those Pawn Shop Mustangs. Fun

love twins. All you need is a good drive pedal, and the knobs on your guitar. Mix yourself into the band from there.

ps...if you are feeling rich down the track....have a look at a pair of weber californias with a ceramic mag and paper dome....makes your guitar sound like its coming from outer space!
