Vero boards are prototyping boards. They are usually made of glass epoxy and have holes connected in one direction by strips of copper cladding like this:

They're popular for guitar effects because they're easy to use.

wish i could find someone to do one of that pedal im lookin for. theres one that isnt verified out there i know of.

If you're on tagboard effects, they're not overly worried about verifying. Read the comments on the layout if they have it. Most of the time if its old, its verified. Mark and miro are good about making it work and a handful of viewers build practically everything posted as well. Ásgeir Helgi has a bunch of you tubes of tagboard builds.
