First original song: Take Me Higher (And Higher)

This was originally written for how happy my girlfriend (at the time in 2014) made me but she ended up leaving me for some unknown apparent reason. She ended up going out with a ******bag that abused her. Sucks for her as I could have gotten married at sixteen to her, but she didn't like the fact that I paid attention to the guitar more than her in general. But I was trying to show her my appreciation, yet she didn't take it so well... So she ended up leaving me for dead to find another one. I'm still single to this day and still looking..

Yep. Coulda married at sixteen and watched it fall apart at your leisure. If guitar time presented problems, just imagine what havoc unemployment would wreak.

Married at 16? Yikes. Consider yourself lucky to be free my friend. I'm 31 and still never been married. I have a steady girlfriend for over 2 years now. I'm happy with that arrangement, marriage can be a ball and chain sometimes. Hell, even living with your lady can be a ball and chain at times. All of the sudden everything you used to have time for turns into "tomorrow we have to do this, this and this" or "did you fix that yet?", or "when are you going to do this, this and this?". All of the sudden you wake up one day and realize the only true free time you have is when you are taking your morning grumpy. Then, just like that, she starts asking you questions while you are taking your morning grumpy, just because the door is closed does not mean you get your peace and quiet anymore! It has it's good moments too, but I'm just sayin'.

There will be others kiddo, it's best to focus on music and playing guitar at your age and the rest will fall into place. Hang in there. If you keep practicing and keep writing you can write your own ending.
