Fishman Fluence problems

My Fishman Fluence Strat pickups installed on my strat along with the rechargeable battery pack seemed to work great until yesterday.I plugged in a 1/4 inch cable which seemed to be tight & I had to push it in hard for it to fully go.After which there was no sound .
I thought the battery might have lost charge & so I put it on charge. The battery pack showed a green light flickering to a yellow.orange light every second constantly.WHile I tested it again there was no sound .
Today I resoldered the wires at the output & also checked with the multi meter. As far as I know I got a circuit complete beep.I put it on charge once again for a couple of hours after which I plugged in a guitar cable.A red light was flickering for about 5 minutes & the pickups worked. Then the light disappeared & no more sound! I've put it on charge once again & I see the green light with a yellow flicker every second. Not sure what is going on!

My only suspicion is that something happened when I forced the cable inside the guitar input yesterday.A bit surprised that even after soldering it all over again there is no improvement.
Can anyone tell me what is going on & how to get this fixed? I have used this guitar only for about 5 hours overall after installing the Fluency a year back!

Change the jack. Use a Switchcraft. A stereo one, as it acts as an on/off switch when there's no plug in.

Re: Fishman Fluence problems

That’s a tough one. It could be that something is accidentally touching. The flickering LED makes it seem plausible that something is intermittent or that it’s accidentally touching something, like somewhere hot is intermittently touching the white battery on/off wire. Stuff like that. If you post close up photos of all the wiring I can try to help diagnose. Or better yet just email me the photos through the forum so I see them right away. I’m not customer service for Fishman but if I can help I will. Otherwise wait until Tuesday and contact their CS for a replacement battery if that’s the culprit.

Thanks.Thats pretty much what I have on it right now sent by Sigler. Is there a possibility that when I plugged in, the output jack got permanently damaged & created a short circuit or something! I had it working for a few minutes after charging & then it drained out. Is something wrong with the battery pack or the output jack?
I think this is the one you recommended.
