Five-Two Strat pickup

How's it going. I havent posted in a while, but I thought I'd look for some opinions on the "Five-Two" Strat pickup. I've been using the Texas Hot custom bridge for quite a while now, and its nice, but I feel like experimenting a bit. The other 2 pickups are the surfer Antiquities so I wonder if it would go well with them?

Wow, that bad?

What I was really wondering is if it can be combined with a normal surfer pickup and not... I dont know the technical term, sound thin and lifeless. Like, are they made the same way, same polarity or whatever?

i had a set a long time ago. i thought they were pretty nice but i sold the guitar eventually. the bridge was ok but i prefer the twangbanger, ssl5 and custom texas hot or a tapped custom shop jb tele for strat

Re: Five-Two Strat pickup

The Five-Two thing is a great idea. The tone is remarkably even across all 6 strings, something that sounds a little odd at first since we're used to a difference from plain to wound.
