1. I don't use a wah or volume often, and when I do they are to the right, so I hadn't even thought of that concern.
2. I think this new design has a bit more room underneath, at least it appeared that way from the pictures. I noticed that when I was handling the current production models.
3. As I've looked at them more, I've noticed this, and was curious about that. I do use a lot of small pedals, so I think I could make it work.
4. This is a big issue for me too. The cases I saw with them at the shop didn't look awful, but I didn't actually get my hands on one. It looked okay for going to rehearsal, and going down town to play at a club or bar, but definitely not sturdy enough for a lengthy touring trip. I would much prefer a hardcase.
I agree they are still in the R&D phase a bit. Hopefully this new model will address some of the issues, and now that they've been available for about a year (not sure when they actually came out), I bet they'll start getting some feedback from people and tweaking the designs.
Thanks for the review RG, it's good to read something about them from a pro who has actually used one a bit instead of just basing my thoughts on pictures and promotional videos!
