Hey guys,
I've been swapping some pickups in my guitar, and have been flipping magnets in the humbuckers (its a PRS Custom with 5 way switch).
After flipping the magnet, you loosen the wax that was holding everything still. Could this make the pickup susceptible to microphonic feedback?
To solve this, Do you need to re-pot the whole pickup? Is there a quicker way to re-melt the wax already in the pickup without going with a double boiler method?
Thanks,
Dre
