Floyd tuning problem

I have a charvel model 3, and i have strange problem. It has JT6 floyd and lock behind nut with graphtech regular nut. When i unlock the clamps at the lock and tune guitar it is all ok. When i clamp down E A strings or D G or B E, just one clamp and it is not important which one because the problem remains, the low e string won't tune normal, i will explain. When i clamp one of the 3 locks the low e string goes to the pitch then suddenly goes a little sharp then back to the proper pitch. The only "mode" when guitar functions right is when the clamps are unlocked, when i just clamp one down or 2 or all 3 the low e makes trouble. I have tried to change string in belive that the string itself is the problem but no. Any suggestions?

Re: Floyd tuning problem

Are the strings sitting snugly against the base plate of the nut clamp?

This is the main cause of tuning problems with locking trems.

It's worse with the kind of arrangement you have because it's very hard to get the string height right at the nut and have the strings pass over the nut clamp base correctly. This is why most manufacturers ditch the nut and use a locking nut instead, although that has it's own set of problems...

Can you post a good photo of the nut clamp?
