Fluence Modern Ceramic -6db output setting.....

I am running a Fluence Modern Ceramic in the bridge of an ESP Eclipse. Great pickup, but seems rather hot. I just hooked the gain switch option to a push/pull and played around with it. I'm thinking I like the -6db setting. Who else is running that setting? Wonder how these compare in output to other common pickups? Thanks.

I have them and never tried the -6db pad. They are pretty good but I only use hot pickups in most of my guitars. They aren’t as hot as the blackouts metal I have in another guitar, but nothing else is.

If I had a problem with clipping the input on my amp or overpowering the input on a board I might try it, but I have the voice and hi freq tilt hooked up to push pulls already.

Also if I was mixing a single coil in the middle or neck the -6 dB would be much more useful with a bridge humbucker.
