Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 test

I bought a used Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 plus an AKG P120 microphone and it's doing pretty well right now, I'm going back to the same pawn shop tomorrow to buy a Rode NT-2A microphone that's there and another XLR lead (need more of those) and I'll have to order some preamp chips for my Leslie speaker, since I seemed to have lost the spares I had.

You need to bring the backing up a lot more.

I love it.

Me, too; I just wish it had line level outputs, but otherwise it's perfect for songwriting if you don't have more than two tracks going at once.

It does have line level inputs, which you can select by flipping the LINE/INST switch to line

sounds good! Are you purposely putting the guitar in L only or are you selecting a stereo track when recording instead of mono?

Yes, I am aware. I was talking about line outputs.

The outputs at the back are labeled as line outputs, those are two 1/4 in jacks. Ain't that what you mean?

No, they are monitor outputs, not fixed line level.
