footswitchable fx loop anyone?

I had a tube amp at one point with a footswitchable fx loop. Crate Blue Voodoo 120. I really liked that feature, and I'm trying to find out what amps are out there that will give me that.

Count the Peavey xxx out, that's just not my style. Are there any Marshalls with this feature, aside from say, the TSL?

Re: footswitchable fx loop anyone?

I could be mistaken, but I think the 5150 series amps have footswitchable loops. A good tech can probably mod most amps to be footswitchable. In fact, I've looked into doing that with my Classic 50. It has a two button switch, one to change channels, and one to turn the reverb on and off. I leave the reverb on a low setting at all times, so that extra button is useless. I need to figure out some way to keep the reverb on all the time, and then copy the switching circuit from the reverb to the effects loop. Any of the tech guys know how I might go about doing something like that?

LOL my XXX does it, but I just use to to keep the volume lower than usual.

I'm listening to clips of these amps...

The 5150 just makes me think Eddie Van, Eddie Van...

I actually do like the xxx but I wish it had better cleans...

I'm leaning toward the vht I guess.

Any of the Mesa Rectifiers have it. They also have a Solo switch which is tied to a volume knob which gives you the ability to boost the overall volume of the amp when engaged.
