For Sale, Like New Peavy Valveking ii 100W Head & Footswitch... CHEAP!!!!

image.jpgimage.jpg

I bought this about 9-10 months ago brand new because at the time I had $700 burning a hole in my pocket & thought I needed a great big loud 100W head, apparently I don't??? What I do need right now is extra cash to pay to pay off my new favorite toy and some more space in my living room!!!! I'm going to offer it up to forum members first for this price for a while before sticking it on Reverb. If it ends up going before you can buy for some reason just let me know who you are & I'll give you the same price...

I've literally put maybe a hour on it since I opened the box so it's basically just as new as the day I got it!!! It sounds great and is switchable between 100W-25W-5W so it can be used for bedroom level practice, I've just got other amps that are better suited for those needs & that's what I use...

I'm sure I don't have to go into too much detail about it, there's tons of information out there about them and plenty of YouTube videos!!! They are great workhorse amps and they don't break the bank!

Still, if you have any questions or want better pictures please feel free to ask!!!

From Peavy-In addition to all the boutique qualities and hot-rodded tones that guitarists have come to expect from the ValveKing series, the new generation line incorporates brand new cutting-edge features for recording and performing musicians. For the recording musician, the ValveKing features a USB-direct recording output, which pipes the miked amp vibe directly into a computer. On the rear panel, the built-in Peavey MSDI (Microphone Simulated Direct Interface) XLR direct interface eliminates the need for miking by allowing users to send the amp's signal directly to a recording device or mixing console.

With versatile tone for rock, jazz, or metal, the new generation ValveKings have the capabilities to create almost any sound imaginable. ValveKing's proprietary Vari-ClassTM knob enables guitarists to adjust the ValveKing's "class" characteristics, allowing for complete power amp type versatility. True to its name, ValveKing even includes the new TSITM tube-monitoring indicator that keeps you apprised of the health of your tubes!

ValveKing offers other high-end features, including variable power control, so you can tailor your output to your performance situation without compromising tone. With triple 12AX7s, two independent foot-switchable channels each with their own EQ, and the Vari-Class variable Class A/AB simulation control, the next generation ValveKing delivers massive amounts of completely customizable all-tube power.

I might also be willing to trade it for another smaller amp (heads preferred as free space is becoming harder to obtain) or other interesting gear....

^ Yeah? Link? IMO it's irresponsible to blurt out something like that w/o a link, as i feel the effect of this post , maybe not intended on your part, undermines the OP's attempt to try and sell his amp . There are too many variables we just don't know about your Ebay seller- what's his feedback?, how much is shipping?, and the condition of the product for sale?, and other risk factors.

Nostalgic is a trusted seller I have dealt with and would do business with again. That's value added right there in my book.

Thank you for that....

I was going to write something to the same affect last night but didn't want to come across as petty. I don't think that his comments were left with any malice but they were a bit Troll-ish & in my opinion quite pointless???

If you don't want it don't buy it! If you do its exactly what I said it is, IMHO worth what I'm asking, & if you buy from me & are not satisfied I will bend over backwards to make you so or give you a full refund!

I've sold dozens & dozens of items to dozens & dozens of different forum members over the past few years & I always try to offer very fair prices on whatever I'm selling. If some guy on eBay got a brand new Valveking ii that had absolutely nothing wrong with it for $179 GOOD ON HIM!!! I mean I have a hard time believing it but if it was the case I'd think it was the exception, not the rule, & I seriously doubt that it's a normal occurrence.....

Although, if you have found a source where I can pick them up in this condition for that price absolutely please leave a link!!! For $179 a piece I'll buy 10 of them & just store them. They sound plenty good on the 5W & 25W setting & I could just dispose of & replace them if a tube were to go or something!!!
