For Sale: Seymour Duncan CC Pickup (Zebra)

For sale is a SD custom custom pickup in zebra ("reverse zebra" in gibson terminology)

It is a high output humbucker with an alnico 2 magnet that can do VH in spades through a strat type guitar.

I got this pickup used, and as you can see, the tabs have been shaped by the previous owner to fit a direct mounting guitar. I've used it in my fender strat, and it sounds great. The leads are long enough for the bridge position of a strat and probably most other guitars as well.

$40. But you can pm me for a slightly better deal.:)

I'll also throw in a clean seymour duncan nickel cover (reg. spacing) for $10 if you want.

Re: For Sale: Seymour Duncan CC Pickup (Zebra)

are the tabs drilled out for direct mount too?

i don't know the screw spacing for direct mount...but I know it works with the duncan screws..because that's what i used them with...am I understanding your question correctly?

He meant, were they directly screwed to the body of the guitar, I.E, were the baseplate holes (that the adjustment screws go into, drilled bigger)?

Re: For Sale: Seymour Duncan CC Pickup (Zebra)

So can the screws and springs that come with Duncans still be used in this or are the holes drilled out to use with wood screws directly into the body?

Re: For Sale: Seymour Duncan CC Pickup (Zebra)

the only thing that's been altered by the previous owner is the shape of the tab. The holes can be used with the duncan screws and springs.
