Forum Jam (laid back)

nuntius

Boogeyman of Tone
hey guys i decided to make a quick backing track outa a riff i made this morning.

Forum backing track (at the bottom)

you can play over it in C i think.

BUT!

i use hotmail which only has a 1 mb storage...

so you'll have to upload your track on a site and i'll download it and stick it all together when i get a few.

tell me if you dont like the track and i'll do a better one than this shoddy 2 minute job :)

could anyone who's intrested IM me so i know how many people are gonna do it?

thanks

Re: Forum Jam (laid back)

if you cant find the beat its at 150 bpm i think so when you import it you should be able to get a metronome to it

Re: Forum Jam (laid back)

havent got that album but i've heard the track flying in a blue dream.

edit : even the solo?

Re: Forum Jam (laid back)

hmm he obviously went forwards in time and stole my idea.

anyone know the name of the song so i can download it and see how close it is?

Re: Forum Jam (laid back)

The vibe is very cool, very Satriani ... I don't think it reminds me of any one song in particular. Other than a bum note at :04 and another one at 1:05, it's really quite good! I'd be able to lay something down for this bad boy! Count me in!

Got it! I will be in the studio today tracking bass, so I will take a few minutes out and track a solo for this and have it uploaded tonight ...

Re: Forum Jam (laid back)

Well, I looped the backing track and tried to come up with something nice to put over top. For the second half, I came up with a cool finger-tapped section, but for the 1st half I could only come up with a lame melody that follow the chords ... grrrr!
