Four conductor coil tapping?

I am buying a '59 but I am not sure weither to get the single or four conductor. I currently have a coil tapping switch for my PATB1 on my strat. Do I need to buy the 4 conductor to be able to keep the coil tap?
Are there any advantages to a single conductor? The reason I ask is that I hardly ever use the tap switch. If it is better to have the single, I may go that route.

theres no disadvantages of the 4 conductor. ive got 6 pickups on various guitars with 4conductor cables and ive only wired 1 of them to a coil tap. the bridge full shred on my strat. it doesnt cost any more money to have the extra cables does it? and its always nice to know you can do something else with your pickups if you want/need to

You need the 4 conductor to keep the tapping option open. I'm with BigBazz, you're not paying any more for the 4 conductor option (at least I didn't the last time I bought a '59) and you may as well keep your options. Sometimes it comes in handy!

It depends on the pickup. Some pups come standard with 4-conductor, others, like the 59, generally cost 8 to 10 dollars extra for the 4-wire option.
