put a set of fralin blues in a highway one tele, seemed to get a underlying clicking noise in all three positions,( clicking sound would go away if i didn't use a pick) switched back to classic and rthynm stacks, clicking goes away. any ideas.........

yea it only makes clicking sound when playing thought it might be static from pickguard since tele pickguard has no foil but what about the bridge pickup, i don,t know,can you glue regular foil on pickguard?

you can use foil on the pickguard but you might just try using a sheet of bounce if it is a problem with static.

if you decide to use foil on the pickguard make sure you do the same with the body and ground it.
